September/October Wrap-Up

So I'm really late with this post, but why not do it now, when it's November? I can tell you that school has seriously disrupted my reading schedule this year and I'm not too proud of it. First, before we get into any kind of discussion, let's take a look at the books I've read in September:

It feels like I've read these a LONG time ago! My favourite novel from all of these was P.S. I Still Love You. It is such an amazing read and totally 4.5 worthy.

The worst from these? Zeroes, Teardrop and Mosquitoland. I don't feel like talking about negativity, so let's just get away from this topic in general.

The number of ARCs from these? 2. 14 books were read during September, and I know I could've done better.

Here's October:

This is embarrassing. 12 books? I NEED TO BEAT THIS. My favourite book from these was Every Last Word and Dumplin'. The Masked Truth also rocked, too. And the worst? The Three, The Girl of Fire and Thorns and Out of Reach. Egh.

4 ARCs were read, and two were from BEA!

So now that it's the middle of November, I want to boost my reading speed a little and at least get to twenty, although I am setting a high goal and hope for myself. Let's just hope that it could happen, as life and being initiative is about setting goals for yourself and staying organized, at the same time as staying calm and happy without any anxiety whatsoever.

August Goodbyes: 2015

August 2015 was the month of vacations, my fifteenth birthday and wonderful stuff. But then again, it's also the month where we come to commemorate the fact that I took a hiatus, tee hee. I'd never do that again because it cracked my heart into a million pieces. But it was a great reading month, which is what we're all here for!

Wrap-Up of Books Read This Month:

There are so many good ones here! What's the number? 28 books! Last month there were 45, but my vacation can definitely count as an excuse as I was always running around, doing something interactive. I DNFed... two books: Six of Crows and Red Rising. What are some that weren't too well written? Ask Again Later, I Was Here, Maria Semple's Where'd You Go, Bernadette, The Bees and Playing With Matches!

Le favourites? (The "Le" was on purpose, by the way) Middle-grade rockstar Sunny Side Up, Second Chance Summer, In a Dark, Dark Wood, Shut Out, Even in Paradise and Perfect Couple.

Number of ARCs read? 7.

July Goodbyes: 2015

Boom, pow, clap! I can't believe that JULY has just passed us and we're heading into the best month of the year (my birthday month!) where tons of Americans will be heading back to school, as well as the university rascals. (GOOD LUCK. I still have until September 9.) It was an amazing reading month, and the summer has been off to a nice start!

And then yet again, I have goals for this month and I'd like to read more, blog more and comment more.

The Wrap-Up of Reads This Month:

So this was completely awesome. If you don't want to count (I know I wouldn't), I've read 45 books this month. I DNFed one—Battle Angel, and completely hated Robin Constantine's The Secrets of Attraction as well as disliked Ally Carter's All Fall Down, Corey Ann Haydu's Making Pretty, Erika Johansen's The Queen of the Tearling and Eileen Cook's Remember.

My favourites this month? There's a ton but: The Merciless, Immaculate, The Cage, This Song Will Save Your Life, The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things, The Nest, The Wrath and the Dawn, Jesse's Girl, Everything, Everything, and Emmy and Oliver all gained 5 star ratings. I can't help myself!

The number of ARCs read? 14. WOOOO!

June Goodbyes 2015

Yes yes, I apologize for being a little late with this, but I'm excited to be doing my first ever wrap-up post I call the "Goodbyes" segment! June was a fabulous reading month, and I'd love to get started and show you the great reads that I devoured!

June Pretties Read:

My favourite reads turned out to be: Nightfall, None of the Above, Last Year's Mistake, The Last Time We Say Goodbye and A Sense of the Infinite. They all were pure 5 star reads and ended up on my all time favourites list!

And for the number of ARCs I've read? 6. Three were from BEA! The biggest disappointment is Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman, which was also the last book I read in the month. I'm so happy with the amount I read—24! But I know I'll read more in the summer break.
