Top Inspiring Quotes From Books

Yeah, so I'm obsessed with quotes, if you can't already tell. Every book review that I write almost has at least one quote in it, and here are some of the best, ever.

1. V.C. Andrews, My Sweet Audrina

"What is normal? Normal is only ordinary; mediocre. Life belongs to the rare, exceptional individual who dares to be different."

2. John Green, An Abundance of Katherines

"What is the point of being alive if you don't at least try to do something remarkable?"

3. S.E. Hinton, The Outsiders

"...I knew he would be dead, because Dally Winston wanted to be dead and he always got what he wanted."

4. Kiera Cass, The One

"This isn't happily ever after. It's so much more than that."

5. George R.R Martin, A Game of Thrones

"Some old wounds never truly heal, and bleed again at the slightest word."

6. Amie Kaufman/Meagan Spooner, These Broken Stars

"I know a thousand different smiles, each with its own nuanced shade of meaning, but I don't know how to reach the few feet away to touch this person next to me. I don't know how to talk to him. Not when it's real."

7.  Abigail Haas, Dangerous Girls

"Wouldn't we all look guilty, if someone searched hard enough?"

8. Carrie Jones, Endure

"I give him a little wave back because it's more mature than giving him the finger."

9. John Green, The Fault in Our Stars

"Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book."

10. William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

"The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves."

Agh, I love these quotes! What are your favourite

  1. I almost put #9 on my list. I love seeing The Outsiders on these lists, I feel bad I didn't add any from it myself. Great quotes!
